Ensure Community Safety
Cortland County law enforcement tirelessly investigates crimes and collects evidence only to see their efforts wasted by this District Attorney. His inability to see cases through to conviction puts our community at risk. I will work with the police and focus the resources of the office on prosecuting repeat offenders and violent criminals.
Protect Victims
The District Attorney ignores victims while their cases languish and are often dismissed. I have a proven track record of fighting for the underrepresented and working tirelessly to ensure that justice is both fair and accessible to all. I will support victims, keep them informed, and prepare them for court.
Restore Competence to the Office of District Attorney
Dozens of felony cases have been dismissed in recent months because the current District Attorney misses deadlines, mismanages the office caseload, and does not work well with others. I will bring in qualified staff and collaborate with community agencies and local law enforcement to ensure that all cases are prosecuted effectively.
